Sherlock Holmes x 2

Yeah, watched Sherlock Holmes twice in a row. On 27th and 28th December 2009.XD

The movie is kinda fun, but 3rd time in the cinema, I guess not la. Cause the popcorn from both days making some of my muscles hurt.
So, chronologically, this is what happened.

27th Dec - Well, watched it with ICAEW students(?) and didn't really get to mix with anyone, but still, this feels sort of like a warm-up for future events with them.

28th Dec - Today is way more precious than 27th Dec! Because it is like a 5sc1 reunion/outing. So, basically there are Lydia, Mei Ni, Gun Lesan, Pui Shing, Sonia Sin, Shang Ging, Hui Jian, Jun Jin, Alvin (thanks for the popcorn), Haow Bin, Yau Mun, Su Wei and I. First we watched Sherlock Holmes at 2.30pm which ended around 5pm. Then, we went to eat at Wong Kok CCT where Oi Loon joined us suddenly. Er, as one by one, they leave, the last remaining few are Oi Loon, Mei Ni, Shang Ging, Haow Bin, Pui Shing and I. So, what else is there to do beside jalan-jalan? But I am more stuck with Shang Ging and Haow Bin than with Oi Loon and Mei Ni after Pui Shing left. So yeah, its fun and happy, cause talked a lot of crap during the time at Wong Kok CCT. Reminiscing about our times in secondary clases. XD.. like the paper cups. for the 4-star project.XD

Thinking about the time we had, it was really, really happy and joyous. XD. You know what guys, we could actually spent the whole day talking about old times and it might not have finished.

.............. am i nervous?

Guess what... I think I am sort of nervous facing Accounting. Well, why do I say so?
Most probably because I can't define whether I am prepared or not.. which is definitely worse than feeling not prepared. Hm, but I think I do have everything stored up in my brain. Sigh, I dislike suspense the most......
But on the brighter side... I am enjoying myself to the MAX on 27th and 28th Dec!
27th Dec got something on with ICAEW
28th Dec got 'reunion' with 5SC1!!!!
So, you know what? I am gonna PAWN accounting and make sure I damn well save a few hundred bucks..XD

PS: Nothing motivates me better than money! Especially hard, paper-y cash..XD

Comic Fiesta 2009

Hello everyone!!!
Yeah, I am in a super happy and high mood right now. And it is only because of one thing! Which is... I volunteered in Comic Fiesta!

Let's start from 19th December 2009 la, actually I was supposed to have my Accounting exam that day but due to technical error, so my exam got postpone until 26th December 2009. But the best part was, in the morning, I was being hyper and high, jumping here and there. Even in the toilet. At the same moment, I accidentally 'jab' my left foot into the what la... Make me spent almost the whole day in a wet shoe and sock. And I was practically jumping on my right foot all the while! Anyway, still happy and high la although disappointed that cannot take exam that day.

So, fast forward to 20th December 2009, I woke up feeling damn energetic and was one of the rare days where I actually reached a place on time. The first thing that I was ordered to do once I reached the Sunway Convention Centre was to put in flyers into Comic Fiesta booklets. I wanted one as well but I forgotten to take. Damn. Anyway, it was dubbed the production line. XD. Working quite fast that time. After that, during briefing, everyone was finalized into groups. I was under Security which is sort of like helpers and prefects-style jobs. For example, check if that person got the ticket band on the wrist, help them to put it on if they cannot and my real job, guard the exit, make sure the people do not simply enter. It really reminds me of prefect duties. But I prefer the public rather than the students. As they are more polite and mindful. XD.

So, in a nutshell, I enjoyed today!!!! voila!

18 = 6 x 3

Ah, so, glorious 10 Dec 2009.... how enjoyable.

Meaning to say, finally I get to put my name "Jowena" into the IC liao. XD... Kinda giddy about it actually. Not only that, had a bunch of friends surprising and celebrating, albeit a super short one me my birthday.

I will have to say, it really took me back by surprise cause I wasn't expecting anyone to remember my birthday... Not to say that I don't welcome the surprise. I actually enjoy it lots. That fleeting moment of happiness is enough to last a lifetime.

So, what happened? you might ask. Basically, its dinner with 9 of my friends from Sri Garden, namely Choong J.J, Sonia Sin, Edward Cheu, Simei, Hui Jian, Jia Hui, Shang Ging, Sow Yeng and Alvin Peh. Quite a good mix of people in it..heh. Way better than I expected.

After dinner, went to watch Storm Warriors II and in my opinion, quite a mediocre show unless you like graphics and Matrix. And the storyline...... to sum it all up, defeat the evil villain and fight against your comrades.

The end..XD

Banana Leaf Rice!!!!

XD. Pardon the random title. Kinda happy today cause today ate banana leaf rice with CFAB classmates, namely Tze Lin, Shu Tin, Wei Ken, Cheok, Amelia and Arthur.
Definitely a new experience!! And after 'breakfast', went to Tze Lin's house, which is located kinda... not far, not near la.. I only know that I spend most of the time sleeping.. damn fun wei..haha

yeah, makan at about 10 something, finish at about 11 something. then reach tze lin house at 12 something and only left her place at 3 something.. and the only thing i did was sleep.

Kinda simplified and summarized.. cause lazy(?)

Happy Day

Ok, why is this Happy Day??? Cause it is one of the days where I was in a good mood throughout the whole day!

Morning was kinda ok, ok.. it was in English class that I start being high and gradually it escalated during Moral presentation. But the best of all was seeing Lydia after college. And have the honour of Lydia becoming my driver.XD

So, this is my part by part narration.

Morning was Management Information, seriously a subject for people who love solving albeit-simple maths problems cause it is not as tough as add maths, only that the questions need to be understood more carefully. Was kinda happy caused I manage to obtain answers from classmates regarding my current 'hypothetical statement'. And it has yet to be proven exceptional or otherwise..XD

Then, English, perhaps it is the joy of knowing my marks or eatiing muruku that was prepared by a teacher or even, because it is just English lessons.

Following up is the Moral presentation part. It was kind of entertaining and highly informative for most group. But the best group that I like is the one that presented regarding the negativity of media. Not so much because of the topic, because if it is on the topic, maybe I would prefer the premarital sex one, but what influences me to like this group the most is because of the dynamic energy in the speakers. Very, very funny man. Like so agitated yet amusing..XD

Last but not least, the appearance of Lydia. Long time didn't see her ady, so we had dinner together today. Ate at somewhere in Bukit Jalil la.. a cafe. She was dressed casually and ate some stir fried beef noodle, while me in formal attire eating chicken chop, is definitely the model example for opposites attract. Not only that, we talked about basically everything under the sky.

Today is definitely a happy day!

Rojak

No, I do not intend to put up information about the food 'Rojak'. It is more about my messed up state of mind.

Damn, I can't even make a sentence coherent.
ARGH!!!!!!!!!!

-Friends from SSG-primary and secondary, especially 5sc1
-darkness
-ignorance
-maturity of mind
-regrets of not being more ......... during in SSG
-questions
-studies-cope

To top it all off, listening to Peng You by Emil Chau and Graduation(Friends Forever) by Vitamin C is disastrous to my current state of mind..DAMN!

Formal frenzy

Guess what.. There appears to be a need to wear formal attire while doing presentation in college. So, I am deliberating between school uniform, prefect uniform or something else.

Not only that, worse come to worse, I am gonna put my prefect blazer on and look like the perfect gentleman I am meant to be. XD

yeah, guess might be having group photo that day as well. I mean, memories count, right?

regretting not taking more photos for secondary times

90 + 73 = Bullshit la!

Since starting CFAB, life had been quite monotonous. I mean, no doubt its fun everyday where we have certain moments of laughters but I guess the joke for quite some time will be the fact that I scored 90 for Accounting and 73 in Management Information. Seriously, I think I had divine help that day. And to think that I actually hate accounts for almost a few years of my secondary life.XD

By the way, bullshit refers to the 'talent' time this week. You guys that know me really well surely know that I don't have talent la... so, when my turn came, the talent I choose for myself was the talent of bullshitting. XD. Since I can't sing or do stand-up comedy, so that's what I did la. And proud of myself that I manage to pull it through. :P

Bullet points

Ok guys, many things had happened over the course of one month. Some sad, some nostalgic, some happy, some elated.

I would have like to be long-winded and everything but I forgotten what had happened, what I said and what I did. I only remember how I felt.
In reverse chronological time-line:
  • Had piano diploma exam
  • Showed my random bad-moodness to CFAB friends. I am so sorry about that everyone.
  • BBQ at Shodaime's house aka the lion that I mentioned. Infiltrated her room.XD
  • Watched Wish Upon a Crane. Passable enjoyment.
  • Watched Kaki Blue. Rocks damn good!
  • Had lunch with Ms Tan and lit. co. Miss the lit. talk by a lot

Hmmm... This is all I remember la.. I had a feeling that there are more things to write about. But this is all, for now.

CFAB!!!!

Meh, I am not sure how many of you know already, but I changed course liao.
From CAT I changed to CFAB. Mind you, both are accounting course but the route is different.
CAT >>>> ACCA
CFAB>>>>ICAEW
Although both are accounting, in a way, CFAB strike to me as more challenging/interesting. I don't know which.
So, its good bye to CAT Group 7 March 2009 Intake and hello to CFAB July 2009 intake.

Some of the few funny facts are that the course got only 10 people taking it in total(guess what, the ratio of the gender is 1:1, assuming the fact I am a girl this time cause if I am a boy this time, it will be off-balance la....), everyone started off at the right note, my violence seems apparent again and I might be the class rep. this time.

Last but not least, I will not forget Group 7!!!!!!!!!!

Expecting group photo up soon...XD

Summer Night(s)~Part 2

18th July-Bon Odori at Matsushita Stadium, Shah Alam. Anyway, I am jumping AniManGaki post and coming here head on! One of the best time that I ever had in my life. Things turn out way better and rocks more than intended to! Gonna do this in proper time-line cause I don't want to mess things up and make it un-interesting.

So, basically, a bus was booked to take about 44 of us to Bon Odori. We left at Sunway U-C at 5.00pm sharp and reach Matsushita Stadium at around 5.30pm. LMAO at the Shah Alam Memorial Park that is placed beside Matsushita Stadium.

Wah, damn happy to finally be at Bon Odori(I practically waited for 5 years) and ogle at all the little kids(no, I am not a pedophile) and ladies(nor a pervert) in yukata. So, my strategy for the day is:
1. Scout and navigate
2. Plan
3. ATTACK!!!!

The things there, not to say is expensive.. but kinda pricey la.
So, walk around looking at stuff. Then bought and ate ramen, 'bitter' yakisoba, and ice-cream. Drinks pula, I had livita, coca-cola, sake, asahi beer.... I think that's all. there might be more that I couldn't remember. I remember feeling rojak-ish when I reached home.

oh... I forgot to mention, the dance part! Damn fun! I mean, its like everyone in the field move in the same way and the ondo(s) are nice as well. There are basically 3 dances only, each one different. Its one of the most entertaining event for me because first round I danced with my lou po chai (college) one la. She look damn cute in a pink yukata. I mean, coming from me who is a pink-colour hater, that should mean something, shouldn't it? Second round is better because the whole club danced together.
A word to those who didn't dance: WASTED...XD

Ah, happy time flies by so fast that its time to board the bus and return to Sunway U-C.
So, since I got no pictures at all, its all in facebook la... I mean, uploaded by others.. The one with my lou po chai, have to 'steal' from somewhere else la...XD

Summer Night(s)~Part 1

17th July - Sort of BBQ at Haow Bin's house. Too bad Bon Odori is on the 18th July, if not I might have overnight-ed. Anyway, arrived there late cause of jam(Man. Utd. practice). Its nice seeing Haow Bin, Yee Jean, Yau Mun, Hui Jian, Shang Ging, Mei Ni, Edward, Chia Hoong(aniki) and Chun Tean again... Well, highlights of the day:
1. tricking Yee Jean into believing that we shared the same bottle. LMAO
2. Hospital Cendawan(Shang Ging, your obession with mushroom haven't end yet)
3. Edward wearing 'carpet' shirt
4. the automatic satay refiller(Thanks Mei Ni)
5. the hormone that the heart secretes( Yau Mun, remember to ask!)
6. karaoke session(damn, couldn't stay until Money, Money, Money)
7. aniki making wonderful sound effects for cutting vegetables, the fan and the car engine

That's all I remember. If you guys remember anything else, feel free to post it up in the 5sc1 blog. I don't want that place to be dead.

ANIMANGAKI 2009~

I realized I had not been writing about it. Call me a slacker or whatever you want, but first of all, I present you

http://suac.x-tenshi.com

Er.. no write-up about Animangaki yet in the website.. but enough to show you the mood of it at some section especially the video made
When I am in the mood, I might want to write about it...

The lion sleeps tonight

I am not sure if you all remember this song already by now.
Actually, I remembered this song because a animated video of it in youtube featuring Gurdesh(to know who is Gurdesh, ask me when you see me the next time).
Which brings back memories.
Because this song was performed together with two meaningful songs(I forgotten which and which, remind me please) on a prize-giving day.. Was it?

And then, I suddenly realized, in a special way, lion is quite related to me. A particular chibi-fied lion is the mascot of SUAC(S-U Anime Club). Since I don't think any club members are gonna read it, so I am gonna put my thoughts here.

SHODAIME ACTUALLY LOOKs LIKE THE LION.and feels like one too.

ok, since most of you readers are actually classmates of mine in form 5, I shall update you guys about who is Shodaime.

Shodaime means first-generation/founder.. I forgotten which. She actually used to go by the name of Kaichou. Since she stepped down already, so I guess Shodaime is befitting of her. Moreover, she (and a few others) made AniManGaki 2009 possible.

Anyway, yeah, relating to the title. The lion sleeps tonight.. basically it means, the shodaime stepped down. Clearly, though the lion sleeps, but it will still awake when morning come... Getting my groove yet??

Ps: you guys gotta tell me what songs we performed and when, since I practically forgotten about it.
and teach me how to upload video into youtube.

Transformer 2 outing on the eve of ANIMANGAKI

26 June 2009. Important date. 2 reasons. Its the eve of ANIMANGAKI. Met up with 5sc1 classmates, particularly Haow Bin and Yau Mun.

Due to my weakening command of English(waiting for my new course to improve it..XD), please use extra sense to understand what I am trying to record.

Well, its a busy day today. I actually went to help out my anime club for last minute touch-up on places, decorations and preparation. Its an awesome experience because we(anyone that were present) brainstorm-ed a bit regarding how to put the banners, tables, chairs and arrangements of classes. And its has been damn long since I ever experienced the build-up of lactic acid because we have to clear up and stack the tables and chairs.

And then, luckily with enough sensibility, I decided to leave college at 7.00pm(imagine my horror when I know that most of the club members left only when its almost midnight, almost make me regret promising to go out with 5sc1). If I had follow my original plan and leave by 7.30, guess its bye bye to the movie and friends at Midvalley.

Anyway, after 'ploughing' through the jam, luckily manage to reach in time for the movie. Thanks Lilian. You saved my stomach. Thank Haow Bin, for buying the ticket way before-hand.
Meh, its kinda nice to see everyone again. But it kinda suck that I didn't get to talk more often with everyone.

Still, we should get together again sometime soon with everyone in it.

It had been ages since I saw Iqtidar and Freida.

A sentence

There is this particular sentence that makes me really puzzled.
By Oscar Wilde: The truth is rarely pure and never simple.

Why is it that the truth cannot be pure? And more importantly, simple?

So, anyone want to have a discussion on this?

T1 and T2

Ended..XD

the day before my mock exam(22.5.2009)

Edited to improve my writing. English deteriorating already since I don't take English in college anymore.

Anyway, what happen was this. Since my mother is going to Plaza Damas/Hartamas Shopping Centre, I thought 'why not take the opportunity to visit my friends that are at Taylor's Hartamas'. And since 22.05.2009 is supposed to be my mock exam that, I bought my T1 file along just in case I got time to spare.

So, after making Chia Hoong waiting for about an hour(damn sorry!), apparently HB2 is having a celebratory lunch(last day of mid year exams for them). Which is how I get to know (almost) all of HB2. Thoughts of my mock exam fled from me totally because they are *tut*, *tut* and *tut*. I leave the blanks for you to fill it up.

So, after lunch and with permission from my 'lady boss', I joined them on an outing to Mid Valley. Stupidly, I just have to be careless. Anyway, bought some stuff from Carrefour for the BBQ activity at Lee Young's house and watched Star Trek movie. Didn't expect the movie to be quite interesting if you ask my honest opinion. Funnily enough, mid-way through the movie, suddenly I remembered my mock exam. Was saying shit and stuff to Yee Jean. Nevertheless, that didn't deterred me from enjoying the movie, and the BBQ at Lee Young's house. Almost caused a fire hazard there and I think I seriously, truly believe that guys cook better than girls..XD. Meaning to say, I can cook well. i think

By the way, I have to take my hat off toward all the HB2 pro-musician. I pale too much in comparison to you guys.

So, guess what, I only started proper revision at 12 midnight and it ended at 3am.
The best news?

I passed my mock exam. Not necessarily flying colours but at least better than super duper red marks.

Labour day

Didn't expect that I will really enjoy my labour day.

Enjoyment of to-day stems from a gathering/outing with classmates from form 5. Although the people came trickling slowly, I enjoyed eating lunch with you all and then movie. I do have to admit that I found that we spend very little together but as the old adage goes, anything is better than nothing.

Intending to do a more detailed and long-winded post later... if I remember..

I still got the posts from Haow Bin's house to do! Another 2000++ words away from target..

College days

Since I notice that I didn't talk much about my college life yet. So, I am dedicating this post to it.
Although my college life is relatively young, meaning to say, a newborn of 1 month plus, I am proud of Group 7(My class name)!!!

I will have to confess that I unleashed my true nature already. That is, to instill 'fear' in people.

For the girls, remember how I used to recite Sonnet 18 and make a lovely gesture to you ladies? Now, I motion for the female members to enter my arms.... which sadly no one did... Oh well, I still have to spend 1 year and 3 months with them.. so, why not train the patience and wait??XD

For the guys, whom I took the liberty to be violent towards, I did it again in college. Seems like my nature will never change. I am still the violent person I used to be. However, my violence towards the guys in Group 7 can drive the girls of Group 7 to tears. Which is a feat I am proud of since these are tears of laughters and joys.

Of course, being a newborn life, I still do have some classmates that I yet to know or spoke to.

PS. A pattern that I notice now is... the class becomes hyperactive during break time if all are staying in class and when not half the class is in the toilet...XD

Under 18 and Today in Class 5-2

Read them!

You may be no comic or manga lover... but seriously regardless of you being young or old, male or female... I think the most memorable time to you is secondary life.
For the old, they may recall with a smile of the times they had during their secondary school life.
For the young, they might be eagerly waiting for the time to come where there will be in secondary.

Under 18 is one of the locally-made comics that I really love. Created by Zint, it chronicles the life of a particular counseling club with it ups and downs. The genre of this, I shall consider it Shonen and Comedy. The essence of youth is really captures in this series because it just shows the ability of teenagers, especially boys, to disregard fear. Fear is something no youngster will put as priority.

Today in Class 5-2 seriously remind me of 5SC1. The happy moments, the silent politics/cliques, the together-ness etc etc. If I remember everything that occured to me in 5SC1, I will create a story of it because it will not last long unless written down and constantly being reminded of it. Although it is true about the saying, when one ends, the other begins, it does not necessarily means being replace. It merely meant that the chapter that ended becomes a memory and a closely guarded treasure that will be placed near, or preferably, in the heart.

So, I guess I am trying to promote this two titles and in the meantime, feeling nostalgic.

Seriously, how many gatherings had occur that we really manage to get everyone's presence??? Will you all agree if I said none?? Last time, when all of us are in Malaysia, already it is hard to be able to have a gathering where everyone is present. I admit that I did not attend a few of them as well. But now, since some of us from 5SC1 are already oversea, I daresay, things might get tougher.

Therefore, I challenge you all to prove me wrong. By 'you all', I mean 5sc1'ers.

Not dead

Title says it all.. so yeah,

I AM NOT DEAD.... nor the BLOG.

Just nothing to write at the moment.. unless accounting interest you all.

First club meeting!

Proudly, I announce that I am a club member of Sun-U Anime Club. Damn~ This feels cool. It is really a world of difference compared to the one in Sri Garden. Maybe its because this is college and everyone is really, really into anime and manga, so, it feels better.

Oh yeah, the first club meeting that I attended was on 8th April 2009. So, I am still trying to get the hang of staying back until 6.30 pm for it...

First week of college

Hm.. I actually wanted to put first day of college but since I did nothing much, better put the title properly.

Well, 23rd March 2009, was orientation. In truth, what should be said is briefing, because basically on that day, you don't even know who your classmates are or what is happening. You only sit there and listen to what the admin side have to say.

Then,24th is where the fun starts. Drove in the rain for the first time. I mean HEAVY rain. And a trip that usually takes one hour became and hour and half. Damn lucky class starts at 8.30am. I practically ran to class under the rain that day. If not, I shall have the wonderful name of being a latecomer again. Not that I dislike the days when I was one.(I think I am reminiscing about my primary and secondary days again... gone were the days when everyone got the together-ness in them). Oh, I also join Sun-U Anime Club. Which should be fun because an event is already lined-up.. which is Sun-U AniManGaki.

Finally, today. 27th. The best part of the day is I arrived at 11.00am whereas my class is actually starting only at 1.00pm. Perhaps, in a way it is better than, because the original timetable actually states 2.30pm. Imagine spending three and a half hours doing nothing and sitting like and idiot.

One thing that I realize today. CAT maybe really is for me because the calculations inform are not tough once you understand the concepts. Or it is just the first two papers that are like that.

BTW, did I mention Sunway UC is kinda huge as well?

A day in a mixer

7.3.2009 is seriously memorable for me because it is the fist time I collaborated with so many people to do song-writing and also because I only came to know I have lousy direction skills today. Wonder if I am going to survive when I drive in the future.

First thing first, I am happy yet disappointed. Happy because I did manage to do a few of the lyrics. Disappointed because I couldn't help much. This project also make me realize that not many people appreciate the effort of the a song-writer because others make it seems easy. Furthermore, what we did today is to fit in words to a song, not song to words. A melody can be manipulated easier but why take the risk if the easy way is there. You still put your effort in, don't you? Just a little info for you people, our melody is from Kenangan Terindah by Samsons. Boy, this song brings back memories. Why memories? Because of the practising, preparation and performance. I consider that three memories. Kenangan Terindah is our last performance as Form 5 Sc 1, yet I wonder how many of us really got involve and performed in it. Seriously, if this song is presented live, I will and must watch it.

Secondly, on what basis did I came up with the conclusion that I am bad with road. A simple one. I failed to present a proper road map and directions to a place that I had been to for umpteenth time. Case 1 being Sri Garden, a school that I had been attending since kindergarden and the roads had never change before and Case 2, a place that is damn near to my house. I should have been able to lead anyone, even a foreigner(as a matter of speaking) to these two places with a snap of finger or within a blink of an(or two) eyes. Yet, I failed miserably. I couldn't lead anyone to anywhere no matter how many hundred or million times I use a road. So, forget it. Don't offer give me a ride to anywhere. I rather not go anywhere and spare everyone the trouble of wasting their petrol and time than having my own convenience at the expense of others.

Ending on a lighter note, my normal G-shock watch is back! I am not sure how many of you remember that during SPM, I had to cellophane tape the strap because it broke off. Changing the strap cost RM 36. Lucky it didn't cost over RM 50, or else I will curse the manufacturer of the strap. So, I am using back my old one instead of the lime green one that you seen before. Unless, it is like a special occasion, I might wear the lime green one.

Literature

Somehow or rather, I am suddenly remembering literature a lot. In a way, it has improve my English, opened up and 'fine tune' my mind too. Certain phrases from the materials are really worth remembering too. North Star and Ides of March being those that I like. Both came from Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare. I think will put up an excerpt from the play. When the time comes, try understanding it. Old English is worse than Shakespeare English. Wanna try?

So, all in all, try your hands on Literature if you can. English, Malay or Chinese or even Indian language is good too. Therefore, my dear friends, start being enticed by the beauty of languages.

College might be starting for me in 23rd March and somethings seems like it is still not in place yet.... Seriously wish things will turn out well and be settled by next week.

So, why not support them and lets go to Tokyo together in 2016.

Otaku

O-ta-ku. How many of you fancy this word and how many of you cringe at this word. For me, this word is one of perseverance and persistent. To us non-Japanese, no matter how Japanohile(courtesy of Eyeshield 21) you become, the word remains as one that relates to anime and manga.
But to the true Japanese or those who try to understand their culture, otaku actually means someone very obsessive with something, usually interests. Of course, the common ones are the two that I mention above and video games.
Somehow or rather, I take pride in being one. Hopefully my list of otaku-ness comprises of my current one, anime(I am the music are one part we can't deny) and manga, and also books(which I always read but never bring myself to otaku's level). I also wish to add J-drama, or in proper pronunciation J-dorama.
Anyway, back to me talking about otaku. So, all in all, I want and hope to be an otaku. That's all.

Happy CNY to all~~~

I know it is quite early as of today, but.....

Happy Chinese New Year!!!

I am sure many of you know that CNY falls on 26 January this year but better be by your hometown or relatives' side on 25th Jan.

One more thing, for those who remember, 29 January will be Hui Sin's birthday. So, help me wish her Happy Birthday.. particularly those in Taylors Sri Hartamas campus.

Another side note is that I will be in Hong Kong starting on the night of 24th Jan to 1st Feb(of course it will be in year 2009 for both dates). Therefore, souvenirs is subject to availability of money(I am serious this time!) and you will have top priority if your birthdays presents are need urgently.

Er.. so far, that's all.. I hope I can get decent pictures to put it up as soon as possible.

Harry Potter saga

I must remember 14th January 2009!!!!!!!! Because I finished the 7th book of this series. Finally. And I manage to make some connections between things in Harry Potter series and the normal life. Will be elaborated once I feel like it(again)

One more thing, apparently J.K.Rowling also wrote three other books related to Harry Potter which I am eye-ing(getting my hint?)

Ah, that's all for now folks.

In 2008

Well, 2008 is a year of happenings, if I may put it that way. And no, I don't mean Malaysia's political tsunami, the Beijing Olympics, its disaster or even the latest US-elected president.

What I am talking about is very much smaller in scale but nevertheless, carries a bigger meaning.

[R.I.P. zy][Fare thee well, Ping Jie][HAMSAP UNIT]

The first one is to honour Zhe Yi, a departed classmate which I am sure all, if not most, of you will remember. For him, I rather remember 7th June rather than 25th Nov.

The second one is for Ms Lim Li Ping aka Ping Jie. She is one of the most dedicated teacher I ever had the luck to met and a good teacher advisor for club too. She leaft Sri Garden to pursue a better career route.

Last but not least, perhaps even the most, is the formation of Hamsap Unit. Comprising of Malaysian and Japanese, which I am not sure will we be meeting again in the future, I am proud to be in this group although I do know there are setbacks which I had already seen which my own eyes.

Of course, there are other things but to me, these are the top three. The order is up to your discretion.

Side note, you can skip this part....
春よ、来い : I had no idea at all what does this means already but I remember it being very catchy
おたく: This is as it is. I believe I do not need to further elaborate on this because one word says it all. O-TA-KU.

First driving lesson

I am a day late for this post but who cares. Well, my first driving lesson was uneventful, for a lack of better word. Basically I learnt the gears, brake when approaching bump, accelerate if road is clear and do left turnings. I wonder if anyone ever said learning to drive is easy but my first time is definitely not quite so. The instructor even said I grip the steering wheel to much. Hands at 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock position too. This requires more coordination than anything I had ever done it seems.

Oh yeah, just an additional piece of info, my practice area is actually near Sri Garden, so I should have gone to school and call the instructor to pick me up from there.. Haha..

4th day of the New year

Well, I actually thought of putting up a post at 00.00am on 01.01.2009, sadly, connection wasn't good, so...

Happy New Year/Selamat Tahun Baru/ Xin Nian Kuai Le/ Kinga Shinnen(Japanese romanji)

and other languages that I don't know of. All in all, a new year, a new start, and a new academic life/gruelling NS life is you are (un)lucky.

That's all folks. Start a resolution if you wanted to too.
