Holiday happenings!!!!!
So, holiday is ending then only I feel like blogging. I mean, the urge and push was there everytime and everyday I did something I find worth blogging but I felt that it would be quite a waste of time if I just blog every single damn thing that happeneded to me, therefore I concluded that consolidation should take place. XD
Anyway, throughout the holiday, I spent quite a lot of time 'yum cha' with my secondary classmates. A little disappointed that I am about to start my next semester just as everyone is coming back, but oh well, better some than none at all. Experience a lot of first time as well. Like first time reaching home at 4am, first time I watched a movie at Jusco Selatan and first time I am the driver for Su Wei (the only other person from secondary classmates than I drove for was Lydia back in 2009)
Secondly, I had massive improvements in terms of expression when I played my Associate pieces (repertoire). On the other hand, I am not as relax or calm as I should be. Instead, I have been rushing much more than I should. Time to take in a deep breath or take up yoga/meditation. I would have to say, I think my motivation started and came from the fact that a piano tuner can play better than me (on my own piano no less!) especially using pieces from Nodame Cantabile live drama. I mean, a piano tuner! My gosh, had a total change of perception on piano tuners now (the previous one was another one that requires mentioning but not this time).
Furthermore, I also became very immersed in bars, bartenders and drinks. Currently looking for a nice bar to have my first bar experience (when I say bar, I include bartenders as well). I believe that my fascination started with the anime Bartender and at that time, I thought I will be taking up hospitality and just learn how to be one, which also led me to be very attracted to flair-tending. Alas, fate has other plans in store for me. Anyway, my initial fascination died off and re-ignited when I read the Bartender manga. Although the main character was being potrayed differently and some happenings being removed or distorted, the essence of the story remained. I really hoped a bar like that existed.
Last but not least, I spent a day with Randy and learnt so many things from him. I mean, I found out more about Christianity and the current state of affairs. Heck, even getting lost is a fun experience cause we supposed to attend a play. Thanks to my idiocy, I forgot the way to KLPAC and eventually, lost the chance to watch Julius Caesar. Though, the day wasn't really that destroyed despite the disappointment of not being able to watch the play. Because later I get to enjoy great roasted(?) chicken wings and boxers at one end of Jalan Alor, drank sugar cane juice mixed with lemon juice and ate a bowl of assam laksa which is quite tasty for Kuala Lumpur standard.
Honestly speaking, that wasn't really the last but I guess Ipoh trip deserve a post by itself.
