Of justice and peace!

So, this is my daily view since I started work as I actually used the LRT in the morning and night.

Anyway, so what is justice and peace? I am talking about legal files review. Any company, at one point, will be sued or to sue someone and under one accounting or auditing standard, it is necessary to look at the legal documents or files. My guess would be to quantify the effect of any damages on financial statements.

Well, that was practically what I did the whole day anyway. So, other than my full-time work, I am in the midst of getting some support from KLPAC, or the other way round, I am trying to support KLPAC and the performing arts industry in Malaysia.

Basically, I made a preposition to KLPAC that I would like to write reviews for any of their shows, plays or musicals in exchange for a fixed fee on ticket and publicity on their website. In all honesty, I think this would be a win-win situation but not sure if KLPAC would agree to it. XD

On a lighter note, I am eyeing to purchase a special edition calendar. Make a guess on which one is it. Or wait till I post up a photo on it. XD but I can assure you, it is gonna be cheeky and fun. The calendar I mean, not the post.

Guess I sidetracked by a lot towards the end of the post, so to divert back,

PEACE to the WORLD!!!!!!

LRT and 10pm.

So, this marks the second day I work which is 28th Dec. Never before had I appreciated and used the LRT like this. But I do have to thanks Rikhai for teaching me how to use the Kelana Jaya line because if he did not, I would not have been able to find a way to client's place.

Not only that, second day already and I am leaving office at 10pm at night. While it does made me fear what could be worse than that, I am actually anticipating what I can learn and the exposure that is laid in front of me. Just thinking about it makes me giddy and happy.

To be fair, seniors in the team gave me the easiest job, in other words, requiring less brain power. Which for that alone, I am grateful.

I still can't wait to see what is in store for me in the future.

1st day of REAL WORK!

So, while I apologised for not putting anything up yet regarding my trip in Switzerland and United Kingdom and the long disappearance of the sky photos, allow me to entertain you with a story of my first day at work. Just in case question marks appear, my job is that of an auditor. At where? Give it a lucky shot. XD

Anyway, first day was just full of talk about certain proceedings in the firm and a quick run-through on stock taking procedures, I do admit I was eating more than listening(refreshments were provided), but I really learnt a few stuff about tipping-off and keeping some of your cards. Next up was to group us juniors with relevant senior members if they are around. Mine was someone I knew from my internship days, so it was fairly relax and I actually had nothing to do for the day. Well, not real work anyway. XD

But I still got two things done though, which is to open a bank account at a specific branch and fill up necessary forms as I want things to be done as quickly and as clear as possible (had some bad experiences with HR dept which left a slightly bitter aftertaste, like stout).

OK, guess that's how a typical orientation day works though, but they do love to make us feel unique by saying we are 'special' and there will be more orientation and training coming up (read: more free days! Woo hoo!)

And as apology for all the delays and what not, enjoy a random photo:

Revival of daily sky!

Morning people! Its the revival of daily sky photos from yours truly. There is just something about the sky, morning, bright, sunny, dark, starry etc etc that is just so captivating.

So, from now on, the sky we see will be from different aspect but it is still the same piece of sky. XD

A good end to an arc.

First time I used a full stop on a blog title I suppose. But the more surprising part, two blog post in 12 hours. XD

This end is very special though, as it truly marks the end to my full time studies as FM is the last paper I took as a full time student. And my holiday-mode entered full gear as soon as invigilators collected my answers and questions script.

So, as a way of having a united spirit, we all went to have dinner together after the exam. The car I went on contain Ka May, Casey and Joel. So, me being a little mischievous, bought them to BDO since Casey drove to Jalan Sultan Ismail.

It was quite exciting to see the place as a soon-to-be employees, but I am quite sure I won't say the same thing once I am an employee. So, each of us finally saw which job we are on and I was the only odd one out. Whilst at first I did have mixed reaction, eventually, I decided that it might be the best. For all I know, there must be some reasons for things to turn out this way. Anyway, met with a few of PJD seniors, BDO batch 1 and BDO batch 2 in the office. Quite a fruitful trip for me.

We decided to leave once our stomach grumbled non-stop and it turns out we were at office for half an hour already.

Anyway, a quick drive were made to reach Sunway and there were so many rubbish spoken in the car ride, ranging from speculation about the clients, teasing of each other and even, moaning(ok, this is a little perverted of us, but fret not, nothing excessive! XD)

Finally, we reached our holy land of food, Tastypot. A little pricey in my opinion but the good company make up for more than it. The best part was, I went to take ice-cream, and once I turned to go back to my seat, everyone was looking at me. I put on a poker face and walked back to my seat. Turns out they were all wondering when am I done taking the ice-cream since I took quite a long time. They even laughed at the amount I took, which is much much less than they expected. LMAO when I heard that.

Still, all good time must come to an end and thus, ends my day as a full-time student. For real. At 12 sharp.

Bridging the Gap

My last paper for the year is starting in 6 hours time and here I am, blogging about thought that just struck my mind. I still couldn't comprehend that I stopped full-time studies a week back and going to start work in 2 weeks time. Just so surreal and so near yet so far.

Furthermore, the day my blog turns 3, I am somewhere far off, with no access to the internet. So, Happy Birthday in advance, BlogKok!!!

After full 20 years of being a student, now I had to join the working world. I do have to say, I might have taken the easy way in as I didn't go through the hassle of an interview, only the cumbersome job of putting together a resume. While the prospects of going out to work, receiving paychecks and being able to live independently (not really, I still live in my parent's house) seems so fascinating, my cynical self reminded me of the long working hours, less time on anime and manga, and last of all, and the greatest kick, no longer a student.

I couldn't fathom at all how life would be. Yeah, I did go an internship which lasted three months, but was the internship a real indicator? I doubt so, as my seniors were all nice and cool. But I am sure, the 'real' ones is when you put a stern and strict senior into an assignment which is a s shitty as it can be.

The other thing that I am adding to my plate is to start making my blog a place of memories, where people can just casually drop by and say, hey, been there, done that, that's life! I don't want a reaction which says : wow! so different!. Maybe I am still a sheep(not the zodiac sense!) but in the sense, I do not have an inborn initiative to stand out, I rather stay with the commonfolk.

Guess its really time to start a direction with my blog in addition to my thoughts which could range from mundane to fairly emo-ish to the damn hyper! XD
