2nd SPARC series!!!

But 1st time attending though. And speaker this time is Zlwin Chew. Pro-clubbers would know who is he. XD I am still quite impressed that EYE project/SEC Malaysia managed to get him as a speaker. Furthermore, host or emcee was great, Jeremy from red FM. He is another great fun dude!

Aside from that, in all honesty, it was great learning about life from Zlwin. I mean, he shared his life experiences and his journey on how he started from a nobody to become a somebody. Which he aptly named : The Magic of Pain, Passion and Perseverance.

He also said a interesting point on your goals and what type of person you would be to achieve that goal. Seriously made me rethink about how most people will lose themselves when they achieve success.

After his talk though, it was networking session and I managed to know a few great people there. Some still students while some already at work. And best of all, learnt so many things!!!! XD

Graduation under ICAEW

Ever had the experience of having two graduations for the same course within the same month? I know I did. XD Great experience but randomly amusing. And best of all, both were different!!

So, I posted about the one under Sunway-TES and therefore, this one will be about the one under ICAEW. Initially during my journey, I had my doubts whether did I choose the right course, will it suit me, am I meant for it and yadda yadda yadda but now, despite failing 2 external papers, I am all great and still with gusto to get the qualification.

How my graduation started? With great rush I must say. I was just in time for the final rehearsal and had little to none refreshments due to me being late.

But overall, taking pictures and talking to each other, congratulating each other is really fun I guess. Too bad had to leave early as was being lazy.

Quick update~~

I really wanted to write down in more details regarding what's had been happening but seriously, after getting hit by a failing Business Strategy (though, compensated by a pass in Taxation), I just really want to focus on my studies and ignore other things. Irony is, I am still helping out and poking my nose in wherever that seems interesting.

Anyway, a quick update :-
-Watched Real Steel with Sunway-TES staff as I was a student helper(see what I told you). Real Steel is really awesome, especially how a kiddo can pawn an adult. And mind you, adult was acted by Hugh Jackman. XD
-Bought myself a BlackBerry Torch 9800(already under debt although had not start work T.T) and having fun with it. To be truthful though, the main reason I bought it was the BBM function because there is this friend I would really like to keep in touch with but the only way to really contact is via BBM, so yeah, you get my drift. XD
-Partially or mostly neglected anime club stuff. Is this what happens to all seniors who left the club? They eventually lost touch? But I really love the anime club(SUAC)!! One of the best things that happened to me in Sunway University

Well, that's all I guess. No life lessons nor humour, plain updates. Heck, not even story-telling mode anymore. ><

Crazy day (almost)!!!!!!

So, had my first Progress Test for Financial Management and Financial Reporting. Undoubtedly confusing but in a way, do-able?

Anyway, I was more interested in what happened after that. XD Cause I didn't go home straight, I lingered in college/uni until about 3pm, talking to lecturers for the heck of it and tried pranking some of them. Well, it is Parents/Lecturers Day anyway. It is fun, talking and learning about life from lecturers. Though I do find it a little tiring for lecturers who has to speak the whole day or have a constant stream of parents or on the other hand, a quiet day, which I think is actually a more enjoyable and relaxing thing(?)

Following up next is BarBeQue at Stephanie's house, which is located just directly beside Bukit Gasing. But too bad, didn't get to hike or anything. I am still more excited over the fact that I managed to heat up the charcoals with Stephanie, Cheok and Rikhai. Ok, I was the supporting role here and my flame kept dying off :( Though, thanks to the wisdom of Stephanie's grandmother, we managed to heat up all the charcoals till it becomes white and some even amber red. The heat from the charcoals were damn powerful that even putting the grilling plate becomes a fairly difficult task. Apparently not for Rikhai though, his pair of hands has got high heat tolerance.

Then, for the first time, and most probably not the last, I became The Cook for a fair part of the time we were there. Because Stephanie's sister also bought her friends along who were considerably young. So, yeah, ate quite a lot before I started being The Cook though. And a lot more after I cooked. XD But its fun, juggling each piece of meat and patty, and cooked them till, I think, it becomes a cancer-producing one?

Seriously, I reached her house at about 4.30pm and stayed there, eating, cooking, and talking to her mother and her till 10.15pm. It was really fun, getting to know here better and seeing her among her gamily members. Her family members are quite nice people. Chill and all.

Argh!! I forgotten that I played her house piano. It was a near-death experience!! With Cheok and Rikhai having their Iphones out!! Damn you two dudes!!!

Following up, was a surprise birthday celebration for Chun Tean at an open area, which is actually a housing area and behind a few people's house. Fairly nice environment and quite nature-like feeling. Alas, being monsoon season,we relocated to Lilian's house basement due to a slight drizzle occuring. Apparently, Chun Tean was being blind-folded and supposed to be blur on where he had to go but he was seriously potong-steam when he kept commenting to Yee Jean on where he is and stuff like that, like a real GPS, he even memorised the bumps and potholes and what-not. So, had cake and pizza and a little cream-fight here and there. The main character had the dual role of birthday boy and  XD Typical of us, no?

In short, I left my house at about 8.00am and only reached home at 2.00am, do the maths will ya? And quantify the fun I had the whole day!!!
