Trip back to old school!!! WOO YEA!!!!

Old school = Sri Garden (International). XD

I don't know what else to say. This week was the open week for Sri Garden and I purposely chosen this day to have a look at my alma mater. I practically spent 12 years, at least, in Sri Garden. I know each spot at my fingertips. Having spent so many years there, it was a great big dose of happiness injected into me today.

Each teacher that taught me before didn't fail to left me which some words of wisdom. Particularly Mrs. Pang, who taught me when I was in Pre-School (5 years old). Her words clearly resound in my ears "Be a somebody and contribute back to society." Of course, my other teachers, those that taught me from the time I was in Primary Standard 1 to Secondary Form 5, told me other worldly wisdom. It was just great to see them again.

I feel more prepared and ready again to face ICAEW. Again. And especially with AA results coming out soon, I shall think that this visit is just what I need to get going. XD

Anyway, in chronological order :

Woke up a little later than expected this morning but still able to make it in time. XD, the guards actually thought I was there for IU night(which tickets were sold out way earlier than I found out) and told me to come back at 5 pm. I was like, no, I am here for Open Day, I want to look at the school and get info for my friends' siblings. One of the guards recognise me and say, yala, can go in la, ex-student mah. Then got settle. Manage to go in and have a little updates about Sri Garden International. Like the new system, timing, changes, all those kind of stuff.

Best part of the day, meeting all my teachers and two young guides to take me around (or the other way around?). Yeah, and I took too much of their time but glad that they have fun. All the teachers thought that they are my sisters wei! XD

So, about Sri Garden International, the only major change is the International Block where classes and walls are fairly new. There are interactive whiteboards too which some teachers tellign me that they are just getting used to it.

Glad to see that most teachers are here. Also met with Ariff, the small boy who counted the books wrongly, each time.

Yeah, basically that's it for the day. Now I am happy to get my failing results for PT on Monday and Wednesday, regardless what happen. Cause if I ever fall emotionally, it would waste my teachers' time and effort for the day.

Adios, minna-san!!!

PS: I would definitely recommend Sri Garden International over Sunway International School. Due to the fact that I was highly judgemental on its Marketing Department. SIS one was damn arrogant and bitchy, SGI was much mroe polite. SIS was like, ah I look down on you because you are a kid, SGI don't really mind that I am a kid. XD

Life : Meaning?

Ah, quite bored actually these few days. Been doing nothing but trying to study for the two PTs coming up next week. Kinda hard focusing on studying. Hm, maybe not meant to study but only do?

Anyway, reading a damn good book entitled error-nomics by joseph t. hallinan which explores the science behind making mistakes (ok, the actual subtitle is why we make mistakes and what can we do to avoid them). Quite an interesting read I must say, because it included many references, experiments and explanation.

For example, one issue touched on was, does more information makes you more accurate or merely increases your self-confidence? There is also the problem that our minds are automatically tinted with rose-colour. For example, you might think that things were actually better than it actually was! Mind you, these are the few things I picked up but truthfully speaking, the best about the book was only this sentence :

The currency of life, is not money, but time.

Which led me to think, so, value of life is, happiness? XD yeah, proud of myself to think up of it but in hindsight, I notice that people should have noticed that by now right? Since it is pretty much common knowledge.

And I just came upon this realisation (though, not to sound like a sour grape), I rather not get any World Prize, lest I am expected to be an outstanding employee. I am happy with passing everything by only using the first attempt, learning all the much more important living skills life will throw to me. :D

Resting day!! XD

Well, this morning started off pretty badly, with me waking up feeling damn dizzy and not in a condition to drive. Furthermore, already woke up late, so that worsen the situation and therefore, I had to miss my class this morning T.T, so sorry Ms. Ruzlena!!!

Anyway, by mid-day, my dizziness subsided and was feeling much better ady, so my mother dragged me to accompany her at Pavilion. Nothing much to do except the usual. XD, kinda short at this stage cause there is nothing much to write.

The real fiesta starts in the night!!! So basically, went to yumcha with a few people (Su Wei, Jun Jin, Sonia, Sow Yeng, Chun Tean, Lilian, Yee Jean and unexpected guest). Supposed to start at 10pm but dragged till 11.30pm and as usual, at the mamak place, I ordered Roti Naan Cheese and Teh C.

Anyway, we were talking way too much crapped until the unexpected guest came!! He greeted us with a " Are you guys all blind ar??" *claps *cheers *screams from everyone who were present!! because he is, none other than, Edward who came back from UK for Easter Holidays! All the other tables were like looking at us la. Because of our ruckus!

Except Yap Yee Jean, cause she was the one that planned it with Edward. Anyway, continued talking crap until we decided to continue at Edward's house and played Twister. Turns out to be damn obscene at some point of the game and damn yoga-ish. One of the conspiracy/theory we had was that this game was created by guys who wanted to molest girls, indirectly. XD

First time playing Twister, and damn fun I tell you!! I nearly broke my leg due to over-stretching! XD

Well, that's for the day folks! Have fun!

*Time to focus on FA, TX and Piano!! Oh yeah!!
